I’m Oscar, a Plant Biology Ph.D. student at UC Davis interested in computational protein engineering and the host-pathogen molecular arms race. My research combines high-throughput screening and machine learning to simulate this coevolution, aiming to forecast pathogen evolution and engineer stronger plant immune receptors.
